privacy policy

Nutrillius (“we”, “us”) makes nutrition labeling software for food businesses at nutrillius.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to run the product, we don't sell your data, and your recipes are yours.

What we collect

• Account information. Email address and login credentials when you create an account.
• Product data you create. Recipes, ingredient lists, nutrition values, product names, saved labels and versions. This is the core of the service and is stored so you can edit and re-download your work.
• Payment information. When payments launch, they will be processed by a payment provider (Stripe). Card numbers are handled by the provider and never touch our servers; we keep only the subscription status and billing history needed to run your plan.
• Usage data. Standard web logs and aggregate analytics (pages visited, feature usage, approximate location from IP) to keep the service reliable and improve it.
• AI inputs.If you use AI features (recipe import, ingredient suggestions), the text or image you submit is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the result. We don't use your recipes to train models.

How we use it

• To provide the service: build, save and export your labels.
• To bill you for the plan you choose and prevent abuse.
• To send transactional email (receipts, plan changes) and — on plans that include them — compliance alerts when FDA rules change.
• To debug problems and improve features, using aggregate data.

What we don't do

• We do not sell or rent your personal data.
• We do not share your recipes or formulations with anyone else.
• We do not use your product data for advertising or model training.

Cookies

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences (like your saved products and plan on this device). Analytics cookies, when used, are aggregate and not used for cross-site advertising.

Data retention & deletion

Your product data stays available while your account is active. You can delete individual products anytime from the dashboard. To delete your account and all associated data, email us and we'll remove it within 30 days, except records we're legally required to keep (like billing history).

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored with reputable cloud infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to production data and keep secrets out of source code.

Children

Nutrillius is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we'll update this page and the date above, and for significant changes we'll email account holders.
