terms of service

These terms govern your use of Nutrillius (nutrillius.com), a software service for creating nutrition labels and related product documents. By using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

Nutrillius lets you build FDA-format Nutrition Facts and Supplement Facts panels, ingredient statements, allergen declarations, barcodes, costing summaries and spec sheets from ingredient data you provide. Building and previewing labels is free; downloading print files and saving products requires a paid plan.

2. Compliance disclaimer — read this one

Nutrillius generates labels in the format required by FDA 21 CFR 101.9 (and 101.36 for Supplement Facts), using FDA rounding rules, Daily Values and USDA nutrient data. However:

• You are responsible for your label. Final accuracy depends on the ingredient data you enter. Always review nutrients, the ingredient statement and allergen declarations against your actual formulation before printing.
• Nutrillius is not legal advice and does not guarantee regulatory approval. Some products (e.g. certain claims, meat/poultry under USDA jurisdiction, or products requiring lab analysis) have requirements beyond what software can verify.
• Nutrition information on our public ingredient pages is for general reference and is not medical advice.

3. Plans, billing & cancellation

• Single label is a one-time purchase covering one label with 90 days of edits and re-downloads.
• Subscriptions (Starter, Pro, Business) bill monthly or annually. Promotional terms shown at checkout (such as a free first month with a two-month minimum) are part of your agreement. You can cancel anytime after any minimum term and keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Prices may change; existing subscribers get notice before a change affects them.

4. Your content

Recipes, formulations and labels you create are yours. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process and render them for you. Labels you download may be used commercially on your products without attribution. We don't use your recipes to train AI models or share them with other customers.

5. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no scraping the ingredient database at scale, reselling generated labels as a competing service, reverse engineering, or using the service to create deliberately misleading labels. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Availability & liability

The service is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it available and accurate but don't warrant uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and significant changes emailed to account holders. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
