Serving size — the part people get wrong
Reference amount: 8 fl oz (240 mL) for juice and juice drinks. The reference amount for fruit and vegetable juices is 8 fluid ounces (240 mL). If your bottle is a single-serve 12 oz that's clearly meant to be drunk at once, it can be labeled as one serving — but the RACC still anchors the reference, and a 16 oz bottle is generally two servings unless positioned as single-serve.
Allergens you have to declare
Straight fruit and vegetable juice is usually allergen-free. The exceptions creep in with functional add-ins: tree nut milks (almond, cashew) in blended 'juices,' sesame or flax, and occasionally wheat/soy in protein or superfood boosters. Coconut is not a Big-9 tree nut for labeling but is often disclosed anyway. If it's just produce, you likely have no Contains line — keep it that way.

Where cold-pressed juice makers slip up
Natural sugar is still sugar on the panel
100% fruit juice can legitimately say 'no added sugars,' but it still declares high Total Sugars — a cold-pressed apple-forward juice can post 24+ g per 8 oz. That's honest and expected, but juice brands sometimes hope the 'no added sugar' line hides it. It doesn't; Total Sugars is always shown.
Juice has rules beyond the panel
You generally need a percent-juice declaration ('100% juice' or 'contains 30% juice'), and juice is subject to FDA juice HACCP. Unpasteurized/non-HPP juice sold to retailers or through interstate commerce typically requires a warning statement about unpasteurized product.
